Foundation / Infrastructure Plan: Mandaikadu Bhagavathi Amman Seva Foundation
In 2024, the Mandaikadu Bhagavathi Amman Seva Trust initiated an ambitious and visionary project — the establishment of the Mandaikadu Bhagavathi Amman Seva Foundation, dedicated to creating a permanent infrastructure for large-scale social and spiritual service in the sacred vicinity of Mandaikadu Bhagavathi Amman Temple.
Key Highlights:
- 🌿 Land Acquisition: The Trust is in the process of acquiring approximately 1.2 acres of land near the temple premises, envisioned as the central hub for its long-term community welfare activities.
- 💒 Proposed Facilities:
- A Marriage Hall (Kalyana Mandapam) — designed to serve devotees and economically weaker families, providing a sacred and affordable venue for auspicious occasions.
- A Permanent Annadhaana Mandapam — to facilitate daily and festival-based free food distribution (annadhaana) to pilgrims, devotees, and local residents throughout the year.
- 🧱 A Vision for Service and Sustainability: The Foundation aims to combine traditional devotion with modern planning, ensuring that the facilities are environmentally conscious, accessible, and built to serve generations to come.
- 🤝 Membership & Participation: The Trust has opened membership registration for devotees and well-wishers who wish to contribute to this sacred mission — turning faith into action through collective support.
- 🌺 Future Outlook: Once completed, the Foundation complex will stand as a symbol of divine service, unity, and community care, embodying the Trust’s core principle — “Anbey Deivam, Sevaiye Vazhi” (Love is God, and Service is the Path).
Through this landmark project, the Mandaikadu Bhagavathi Amman Seva Trust moves closer to its dream of creating a permanent center for spiritual, cultural, and humanitarian service, rooted in devotion and guided by compassion.
