    Dhanalakshmi Tamil New Year Seva

Commenced in 2023, the Dhanalakshmi Tamil New Year Seva is a festive outreach initiative of the Mandaikadu Bhagavathi Amman Seva Trust, conducted on the auspicious eve of the Tamil New Year (Chithirai Puthandu). The Seva seeks to share the divine blessings of Goddess Bhagavathi Amman with the underprivileged, ensuring that the spirit of prosperity and renewal touches every household.

    Key Highlights:

    • 🪔 Sacred Offering Extended: The prasadam of the Goddess — known as “Chithirai Kai Neetam” — traditionally offered at the temple, is distributed to underprivileged families across nearby villages and hamlets.
    • 🍛 Sharing Divine Grace Through Food: Volunteers prepare and deliver prasadam, sweets, and essentials symbolizing abundance and well-being, helping every family begin the new year with divine blessings.
    • 🤝 Inclusive Celebration: This Seva transforms a sacred temple ritual into a community-wide celebration, promoting unity, faith, and compassion among devotees and residents alike.
    • 🌼 Spirit of Dhanalakshmi: Named after Goddess Dhanalakshmi, the embodiment of wealth and auspicious energy, this initiative reflects the Trust’s belief that true prosperity lies in sharing and service.

Through Dhanalakshmi Tamil New Year Seva, the Trust continues to blend spiritual devotion with social responsibility, ensuring that the joy of Puthandu reaches even the most humble homes.
