MAUSI JI BHOJAN SEVA (Since 2023)
The Mausi Ji Bhojan Seva is a thoughtful and impactful initiative designed to reduce food wastage while simultaneously feeding those in need. Launched in 2023, this program focuses on collecting leftover or surplus food from households, religious events, weddings, and other gatherings, and redistributing it to underprivileged individuals and families.
Whether it is freshly cooked meals prepared for special occasions or unused food that would otherwise go to waste, this service ensures that no one in the community goes hungry, especially during festivals and social events when food is abundant. By doing so, it promotes sustainability, compassion, and social responsibility, turning acts of abundance into acts of service.
The program is meticulously organized with dedicated volunteers who coordinate the collection, transport, and distribution of food, ensuring that it reaches beneficiaries in a safe, hygienic, and timely manner. Efforts are made to maintain the quality and freshness of the meals, reflecting respect and care for the recipients.
Since its inception, approximately 17,000 people have benefited from the Mausi Ji Bhojan Seva, receiving nutritious meals that provide both physical sustenance and emotional relief. Beyond feeding the hungry, the initiative also fosters a sense of community solidarity, connecting donors, volunteers, and recipients in a shared act of generosity.
In essence, the Mausi Ji Bhojan Seva is more than a food distribution program—it is a symbol of empathy, mindful consumption, and human kindness, turning every meal into an opportunity to serve others.
